Chapter 5

"Uhm. Hey..." I quickly turned my head. My eyes became wider when I saw you behind me. Ngayon mo lang ako kinausap simula noong nagpakilala kami sa iyo. Your friend, Erick, is civil to me while you are not.

"Hi!" I said and bit my lip, trying not to overdo my smile.

"This is Abby's excuse letter, her brother handed this to me..." You spoke calmly. Its addicting. It was deep and...seductive. I stared at you. Didn't know it will took longer than I thought. I was taken aback when you snapped your fingers in front of me. Did I just space out?

"Oh! I-i-i am sorry." I apologized and slightly bowed my head. Oh god! It was embarrassing. I probably looked stupid. You laughed. My jaw dropped. I can't believe what I just saw!

"Y-you laughed." I may sound weird, but its my first time. Yeah, I already saw you laughing at your 'girlfriend' but this is different, because you laughed at me! I felt like I won the lottery.
Ang babaw lang pero masisisi mo ba ako?

"I did?" You pouted, trying not to smile.

"Uh-huh." and it was damn sexy. I wanted to add. You smiled and handed me the letter and bid goodbye. "See you, around"

I can't take my smile the entire day. Your smile is like a drug and I'm afraid I might get arrested.

Chapter 4

Abby, my bestfriend, held my hand and pulled me up. She dragged me outside the classroom excitedly.

I was about to asked her why but, when I saw you standing outside with your friend, alam ko na kung bakit. Abby has been pursuing me about this for so many times. She wanted us to know each other. I want to. I always wanted to but, then, I'm scared. and i don't know why

She slowly pushed me, wanting us to be closer. You are looking at me with your famous poker face. I don't know if you're bored or mad. I can't read your expression but then, Tinitigan din kita pabalik, trying to memorize the every detail of you. The fold of your lips make it seems like you are pouting, your thick brows and chinito eyes that makes you look more suplado. Your pointy nose and your white skin.
Damn, you are so perfect.

Your friend, I guess, fake a cough. AWKWARD... that's the only word I thought in that moment.

I looked at Abby, who is holding her laughter. I gave her a deathly glare. She raised her both hand as sign of surrender.
"Jacob, I would like you to meet my bestfriend, Akiya." She said and clapped her hands like a crazy seal.

"Hi" you said.
"Hi" I said back. Trying real hard not to make my voice shaky. Glad I did.

"Ah. Akiya, this is Erick, Jacob's friend". I looked at Erick. His dimple is perfectly suit his soft features. Erick offered his hand so I accept it, nagulat ako nong hinalikan niya ang likod ng kamay ko.

I laughed and took a glimpse of you. You are looking at your friend, with a frown. It faded when you met mine.

"Let's go." You said before you grabbed your friend away from us.

Hinabol ko ang aking hininga na kanina ko pa pinipigilan. I think i'm gonna die of suffocation when you are always around.

Chapter 3

I'm curious when I saw you standing outside of one of the classrooms, as if you are waiting for someone. I'm on the school building while you are on the ground. I'm looking down on you, while leaning on the railings.

Okay, I admit. I was actually curious who you are waiting for. Halos araw araw ata kita nakikitang may hinihintay.

My bestfriend kept bugging me for something, so I looked at her in annoyance. She just rolled her eyes and followed my gaze. I heard her giggled when she found out who I was looking at.

After a minute or so, I was about to leave when I saw someone walked towards you. My jaw dropped literally, when I saw you smiling at her.

The overflowing beauty of her.
Nakakainis kasi ang ganda ganda niya. Her chinky eyes that twinkles every time. Her tallness and curvy body that everyone likes. Her wavy black hair, her thin lips and pointy nose. Talong-talo ako.  But then I shook those thought away. I never been this insecure. Ngayon lang.  Damn it!

You offered your hand to her and she accept it gracefully.  She lean closer to you and whispered something that made you laughed.

Oh.
Too much to those scenes, I diverted my gaze and decided to leave the place. My bestfriend followed.

"So, totoo pala?" I looked at my her in disbelief. She looked back with a 'nakikisimpatya' face. I crinkled my nose and smiled. I knew what she is thinking.

Im not jealous, alright?

My brain, agreed but my heart didn't.

Chapter 2

The next day, I found out that you are a new student and in the 7th grade. I'm quite surprise 'cause you don't look like one. Pero dahil magaling sa pags-stalk ang bestfriend ko, she found out immediately na tumigil ka sa pag-aaral and that explained why hindi ka mukhang 7th grader. She even told me that we are on the same age.

I was walking in the hallway, one afternoon. But because I'm pretty clumsy, I almost slipped on the wet floor. Luckily, I was able to balanced my self but the bad thing is I dropped my things and it scattered on the floor. I groaned and slightly hit my head off because of frustration. I stopped when I saw someone knelt in front of me, slowly took my things on the floor. I knelt down too and help him picked those things up.

I looked in front of me, curious who might it be. My heart beat fast when I recognized who it was.

It was you.

I was stunned for a second until you met my gaze, so I looked away as I felt my cheeks turned to red.

I stood up while you handed me my things. "Thank you" I uttered. But you just nodded and walked the other way.

I smiled. You and your 'Resting Suplado Face', Some might find it offensive, while I find it really captivating.

Chapter 1.

It was my first day of class. It was a usual day to me. Of course, I'm on my 10th grade and I knew almost half of the students in the school. Not until, you laid your eyes on me, but after a second, you looked the other way. You are wearing white tee shirt and faded jeans with your camouflage printed bag.

But then, I was waiting for something. I was waiting for you to smile, but you didn't. I waited again but you didn't even smile a bit.
Suplado, I thought.

My bestfriend poked me and whispered. "Gwapo no?" She teased and giggled.
I shook my head and said no.

I lied.

She knew.

"Oh right." She rolled her eyes. "You don't believe in love at first sight, pala." She said as she punched my right arm, playfully.

I take a glance of you again. I don't know the connection, but then, I thought. Oh she's right. I'm not a believer, but not until I met you.
